Bank and anti-money laundering regulations, require us to perform a KYB-check (Know Your Business). This involves verifying the identity of directors and shareholders in your company. Under normal circumstances we only require home address and date of birth to do this. In some cases it might be necessary for you to provide an additional source of identification like passport or driving licence.

We are using records from Companies House, which are publicly available to find all relevant information about your company. But sometimes this information is outdated or incomplete.

If your company was incorporated less than a year ago, we will need some additional documentation like bank statements for the KYB check. We will contact you directly, if additional information is required.

KYC = Know Your Customer

The identity information of up to two company directors will be checked against other data sources like the electoral register, etc. If these checks are unsuccessful we might ask for another form of identification like passport or driving licence.
